The Try, Test and Learn fund, first launched the Australian Government in 2018, will finance small‑scale trials of new or innovative approaches to support people at risk of long‑term welfare dependence. The second round closed on the 30th of March 2018 and there were four priority groups, however applications to support other groups were accepted if appropriately justified. The third round will open shortly with applications due on the 31 May 2018.
This grant opportunity invites applications for small‑scale trials to provide services or support to improve workforce participation or capacity to work for people at risk of long‑term welfare dependency. Services can be delivered anywhere across Australia. Projects are intended to run from 6 months to 2 years with budget range of $0.5 – $5m.
